Well I was fortunate enought to shoot a nice 6 point here in CT on the 29th of October. 7:30am he came into some scrapes and I hammered him.Ran 50 yards and flipped over. Well I took all my gear back to the truck and grabbed my game cart. I went down to get my buck and figured while I was there I would go 200 yards over the bank and get my other stand and grab my camera. WELL...I get to where I can see my stand and a beauty 10 pointer jumps up out of the mountain laurel. And proceeds to stand there at 45 yards without even one branch between us for 5 minutes. Mean while I am crouched on the ground, WITH NO BOW!!!!!
I cant even believe this happened..But with how my year has been I should expect it.Hahaha..
Well off to Illinois this evening for 2 weeks. They are getting with does now. Good luck to everyone!!

Goodluck to both you and Skip as well as the other fella's that are out west right now hunting. Wish I could have made it out there this year but the moose hunt changed things a bit this year. You guys will hammer away out there- can't wait for the pictures
