Rough Start

HankeyB 96 posts Oct 25, 2009 3:18 PM	Well today i got in the stand a little late, i got all set up and within 15 minsa a few doe strolled by. I was excited,about 15mins later 10-11 doe walked in..the biggest provided me with a perfect cordering away shot, the arrow nailed her..she was bleeding good.i followed her for about 200 yards..yea a long way, then in 1 area there was about a 1/2 gallon of blood..and it stoppedi searched for 4 hours and nothing,got a dog to track it, nothing...so my 1st deer i hit gets lost :(
Armand RDP Pro Staff 290 posts Oct 27, 2009 12:27 AM	1/2 gallon bud and the deer would be dead right there.LOL It usually looks like more than it really is when they stop and stand there. Are you using sharp broadheads?
HankeyB 98 posts Oct 27, 2009 9:31 AM	i used rage broadheads right outta the package :\..it looked like a half gallon ya haha..the area it was spread at was the save of a half gallon jug is wat i was suppose to say haha
