Had a very productive weekend in the woods on Sat. I saw my first buck he had about 6" of growth on his head I think it's the same buck i've been trying to harvest going on three years now he is a giant NH buck in the 160's. Then this morning while I was moving around one of my stands in Acworth saw a newborn got some pictures with my camera phone he was so small the smallest fawn i've ever seen it was awesome got a few pics and backed out slowly you could tell he wanted to run but wasn't sure what to do so as I left I watched him and he just relaxed and layed back down. That's why I love spending my time in the woods just to see those rare and beautiful moments.

Thats cool Jarrod..I am just starting to get back out into the woods..Turkey season burnt me out..HAHA Hoping to find a 150+ down here in Ct or Ma..I know Mass has them so we'll see..My buddy got permission on some sweet Amherst land so that may hold a monster. BUT either way its going to be a carbon slinging fest down here..I can shoot like 6 in Ct, 3 in Mass, and 3 in Vt..Plus whatever happens in Illinois!!!! Come on fall!!!
