I got a some photos of four different bears eating Antler King Deer Minerals that I put on one of my deer runs. What the....? Its just off a clear cut that is loaded with black berries. No deer though which is supprising. Guess I know where I'm gonna crank my first bear ever this year...if one shows up thats big enough.

Thats cool. I cant wait til September first. You should have Sweet or Bone film you if you are going to shoot a bear. If we can get enough guys back into hunting them then we could do a bear video also. I have not shot one in a few years but usually set up other people. I will be hunting this time with the new KP1 308..Next year I will start the guiding for bears now that I have found a spot to get bait..
Panax...Your truck looked a little funny piled with bread today. Got the wife doing your work huh?? Thats awesome..Cant wait for some hunting stories to start coming in. I am getting excited just writing about it..lol
Good luck boys

Just checked my camera up back. Three different bears...one good size one (sent you guy photos). Going to check my bait station from last year to make sure all lanes are clear and its ready to go. Been getting a decent amount of bait, and just got another supplier to save me all of there sweets. I'm only going to shoot a bear if its big. Filming would be awesome...regardless of who it is! The bait station is set up with a double ladder stand if that is o.k. for a filming set up.

Three nights in a row now one of the dummies has torn apart our garbage cans. They like salsa, halapeno and cheese dip! I gotta find a spray or something to put on the cans that will prevent this from happening. There obviously not affraid of my dogs. I'm getting sick of picking up garbage in the morning!

I went for a long hike out behind my house today. Amazing how much bear sign there is in the black berries...loads of piles of crap. Nothing like natural bait just before the season! I'm going to have to reposition the double ladder stand for filming. If anyone wants to come out and help let me know.

So are you planning on shooting that big bear you sent me pics of? Thats a nice one..250 to 300 I would say..I am going to go check some berrie patches next week and figure out where I am going to try. Not really in a rush, would much rather shoot one in Late October when the coat is nice..

Got some great photos of bears in my bait bucket. Don't think I'll shoot the big one until after the guys from Ohio leave...unless they get it while their here. Theres quite a few bears coming into the slop pile though. I may sit up there a couple of nights just to film them...we'll see.
