On one of the first cool evenings of the 2008 deer season. The day oct. 13th and the weather perfect. I climbed into the tree with bow in hand and camera on back. Settling in the tree feeling comfortable in my Scent Blocker XLT, I had to overcome all the acorns dropping all around. As the evening went on the magical hour aprouched and I saw movement. As the deer aproached I noticed his spikes and I wheeled the camera around and set my self for a shot with the camera and the bow. Needless to say it came together as if he read the script I had gone over in my head moments before. The muzzy ate and he didnt make it 40 yards and piled up. Nice spike that went 95lbs and had decent 8in spikes. Makes for good meals to come!
