Here is the buck my dad harvested on Saturday, December 6th 2008. We were hunting in northern NH in about a foot of snow with a serious crust. The hunting was tough and most of the deer had already moved down to the yards. We finally came across the track of this lone ranger at 11am and I got right on him. Tracked him for about 45 min when I jumped him up at 20 yards, but in the thick stuff I couldn't get a good look at him. He went right to my dad where he touched off a free-hand shot at over 200 yards with his .308. I came onto him minutes later and put the final shot to finish him off. 176lb 10pt. 19 1/2" inside spread with 21" beams.
