Age 14 Nh Youth Turkey 2008 Youth Turkey Hunting Weekend. The bird weighed 20lbs, 9 inch beard, 7/8 inch spurs. Shot by Ryan Bentley (age 14). Shot close to home in the Town of Charlestown, this bird flew down from the roost right after sun up and came straight to the decoys. Older brother Eric, too old this year to hunt the youth weekend, did the filming while Dad did the calling, a real family affair. The entire hunt, including prehunt and post-hunt footage was captured on film and came out remarkably well. We hope to submit the film to Cabela's television program Memories in the Field.
