After filming Armand passing up all of these bucks two days before, we went back and sat on a big alfalfa field hoping that I would get a shot at one of the 6 pointers that had been coming out. After moving stands earlier that day, we climbed up for our evening sit. We first saw this buck at 5:30pm, then he ran back into the woods. At 6:30pm, him and two other bucks appeared directly behind our tree stand! After about 10 tense minutes, and having two bucks directly downwind (thank God for my Scent Blocker Suit!) the 6 pointer finally walked out about 5 yards from the tree stand, I was able to make a perfect quartering away shot! He ran about 80 yards. I was extremely pumped when I walked up to him, realizing that he is the biggest archery buck to date that I've harvested in NH!
