Well after about two weeks of playing cat & mouse with these bucks, I finally connected. I had been watching about 5 different bucks coming to these apple trees every night but could never seem to be in the right tree ... If I sat on one end, they would come out on the other. So I decided to bring in the boys of Real Deal and see what we could get done. With Matt filming Armand in one side of the field, and Bone filming me on the other, we were ready for any deer that came out. Well, like clockwork, at 6pm, the 8 point that I had been seeing popped out. But this time he was headed towards my tree. I gave him a few grunts on the RACKER grunt call from Corker Calls and his hair went up, and in he came, stiff legged. At 35 yards he turned quartering away, providing me with the perfect opportunity! I took it! Perfect shot and he ran 80 yards and fell in the field. Truly one of the most fun nights we have all had in the tree.
